Pilates for Back Pain - 19 December 2020

€60.00

Lower Back Pain is an all too common side-effect of our 21st-century lifestyle. Too much time spent sitting down leads to tightness and weakness in the main muscles that connect the spine to the pelvis and the legs. In this workshop, we will take a look at the Iliopsoas, Quadratus Lumborum and Piriformis muscles. We will explore how their hypertension and/or weakness can contribute to back pain and discover which exercises in the classical Pilates System are particularly useful and effective in addressing these issues.
