You will be guided through a holisitic teaching protocol that uses the 6 dimensions of wellness and that will help you gain a deeper understanding of how to serve this population’s needs not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Part 2 will follow in January and will explore studio modifications and variations to improve functional fitness for this group.

Discover how your paradigms get in the way of your work, discover the impact of weight distribution on movement, look through the lens of the 4 S’s to guide students toward greater functionality, explore common muscle imbalances in the larger body. You will gain a greater understanding of students challenges and ways to assist them in making movement a part of their daily lives.

 

Part 2 will follow in January and will explore the practical side of teaching this group with modifications and variations to improve functional fitness for this group in the Pilates Studio.
